Our Grandson, Michael, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, cancer of the soft tissue in December 2001 when he was 7 years old. During his treatment, the Make-a-Wish Foundation sent little Michael, my son Michael and his wife Michelle and their other two children, Nicholas and Sarah to Disney World for a combination cruise and stay at Disney world. It was so wonderful for their family during this difficult time to get away from the hospital, treatments, etc. and enjoy a most needed vacation at Disney World. In 2003 two of my three sons, Michael and Joseph, did the 300 mile WAM for the first time to raise money to grant wishes of other children with life-threatening medical conditions to give them hope and joy. The next year in 2004 my husband Gary and I and our other Son, Christopher and some other friends joined in the 300 mile WAM to raise money for wishes for children. This will be our 7th year.
